Are Miss USA photos too racy?
Don Trump has ruffled feathers … and not one person is shocked.
This time some are up in arms about the racy photos of 51 beauty queens posted on the Miss USA site.
Shot in Las Vegas, the “Waking up in Vegas” photos show the contestants all tarted up in lingerie and with smudged eyeliner, fishnets and tousled hair.

Critics say they look more like ads for Victoria Secret than the woman that represents the best the USA has to offer.
The truth is that the contest has gotten progressively sleazier (and successful) since Trump bought it in 2002.
Now there are no holds barred.
Trump defended the the photos on the Ryan Seacrest’s show yesterday.
“Whether we like it not, beauty women will always attract ratings… I think they’ve gone maybe a little over the top this year,” he said. “These pictures are pretty wild, but the girls are incredible.”
Trump said that the girls will go as far as they can when the show airs on NBC 7 p.m. Sunday, May 16.
“Which is pretty far,” he said, adding that bathing suits will be as small as they can possibly be.
Miss USA has been more successful than Miss America because “the bathing suits got smaller and the heels got higher,” he said, repeating a comment from the past.

Why do we even continue to have these “pageants” anyway? They’re totally useless and serve no purpose other than being a springboard for women who want to branch out into other (usually) mindless adventures.

WhatAWorld, completely agree. There is really no point in wasting money to be in one of these things. What actual values does it teach someone. If the winner truly wants to help end hunger and find a cure for cancer,go to college, get an education and be a productive citizen.A crown shouldnt be needed to inspire you.

WhatAWorld & Ugh are either Andrea Dworkin clones or really ugly broads that are permanently angry at the world because they just don’t measure up. Is it fair that beautiful people get every break in the world? Absolutely not. But you know what? Just like Bruce Hornsby said, “That’s the way it is.”

I’m more worried about the kids (under 12) that look like dolls in their photos.

Who cares if they’re racy? Pageants are just dog and pony shows where women are paraded around like livestock. It’s not like they have a mathlete round. They could pose nude for all I care. They’re not ambassadors, they’re BEAUTY queens.
