Fans of glam rocker Bret Michaels can keep up with his condition via his Twitter and Facebook pages.

The Poison singer and current contestant on “The Celebrity Apprentice” suffered a brain hemorrhage, his publicist said Friday. He is in critical condition in an undisclosed hospital.

Bret Michaels Update 4/26/10

Today at 7:05am Once again we can’t thank everyone enough for all the well wishes and prayers being sent Bret’s way!

As of now Bret remains in ICU under 24 hour surveillance. Further testing this week will help locate the source of the bleeding.

Look for an official medical report from doctors this week at BretMichaels.com.

Please remember Bret is, and always has been, a fighter and survivor and is under the best medical care possible.

Thank you for your support, thoughts & concern!

What do you think?

I hope he pulls through, he’s really tried to clean up his act over the past decade or so. But it does go to show what happens after years of substance abuse…your body gets to a point where parts just wear out or are weakened and can potentially be damaged later on.

Ron I’m glad you and some others are highly qualified to diagnose why this happened to Bret. I’m sure you have watched alot of House and other shows to help with your training.

Wow, one of my friends died of that the day before my 30th birthday. I hope he pulls through but it will be very tough. I feel so bad for his family.

What could have triggered his brain hemorrhage? Until know Brett Michaels condition remains critical and his doctors are giving him random tests to determine the reason of the bleeding. His condition seems to be bothering me but I just hope he’d be able to fully recover from this.

Like him I’m a diabetic, he is living his worst fear. With a baby on the way…..he has my prayers.None of us are even promised the end of the day-we’d do well to remember that!
