Do blondes make more money?
Ladies, it’s time to break out the Lady Clairol.
Not only do blondes have more fun, according to a new study, they make more money and have richer hubbies.
Blonde-haired women earn seven percent more than other women researcher at the University of Queensland told the UK’s Telegraph.
A blonde woman’s husband also makes 6 percent more than other husbands.
The university surveyed more than 13,000 women.
The pay difference remained even when factors such as height, weight and education were removed, the newspaper reports.
So much for the ditsy stereotype.
Researcher surmised that being considered beautiful trumped the perception that blonds are less intelligent.
Take heart brunettes. According to one survey, you are better.

Why then don’t all women color their hair blonde? If it was so great everyone would be doing it.

I was once a blonde, am highly skilled and qualified business manager. While job hunting for six months, it was relayed time and again that I was in the final selection round only to not get the job. Working with a recruiter who assured me my interview skills were flawless and my resume impeccable, she suggested I shorten and darken my hair and wear glasses. She read a study that suggested on a subconscious level, if the final selection were between a blonde or brunette, the brunette would get the job offer (subconsciously “blondes” aren’t taken as seriously in the job place). So I cut and colored my hair, got fake glasses and within a few weeks landed a job. So if this is true, now that I have the job, I should go back to being a blonde to make more money?! Interesting.
