Suspect captured after checking Facebook on victim’s computer
Umm…the commission of a crime is not the time to check a friend’s Facebook status.
A West Virginia burglary suspect was nabbed after he checked his account on the social networking site using his alleged victim’s computer, Martinsburg’s The Journal reported Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Jonathan G. Parker, 19, of Fort Loudoun, Pa., logged into his account, but oops, forgot to log out before leaving the home with two diamond rings in August, according to court record obtained by the newspaper.
If convicted, Paker could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

I think technology will start catching more and more criminals. In this case he did it to himself. However, the day will come when the police can put in a time frame and location and find out what cell phones were in the area at the time. Also, neighborhood cameras with face recognition software and license plate capture programs will give a list of people in the area at the time.
