Does first lady have the right to bare legs?
Who cares about finding an answer to this whole healthcare thingy. The most pressing issue of the day is “does the first lady have the right to wear shorts”
Really, that’s the question.
We’re already addressed Michelle Obama’s arms. Now we’re on to her gams.
The first lady caused earthquakes and sandstorms when she was spotted early this week in shorts during a trip to the Grand Canyon. And this isn’t the first time she’s been spotted in shorts. She’s also been seen doing the unthinkable, walking her dog in shorts.
Wearing shorts to the Grand Canyon in the summertime, does Michelle O think she’s a person or something?

She has the right to wear what she wants on vacation. However, good taste would dictate that she wear some longer walking shorts or capri pants since she is the first lady riding with the president on Air Force when she knows she will be photographed. They are symbols of our government and it does look a bit too casual. Walking the dog is a totally different matter.By kitten

Yes, she has the right to wear shorts. Should she? IMHO, she should have opted for capris or longer walking shorts, as others have suggested. There are many styles of casual wear that she could’ve chosen, and she’d look “vacation-y” yet pulled together at the same time. This outfit is a bad choice, much like the sweater she wore to meet the queen. You people who are calling the Obamas low life trash…, need to check yourself out in the mirror. Those of you who are commenting about how she look and how she walks, have you looked at yourself lately? Oh, come on…aren’t there more important issues to cover than the First Lady’s mode of dress? She is a Mother and is on vacation. I have yet to see her dressed inappropriately. After reading all the comments, we are who we are…God created us and we do the best with what He has given us. Stop bashing the First Lady’s looks and mode of dress. She is a Mother and a wife and I respect both of the Obama’s for spending time with their kids like all parents should. They are in the spotlight only because they live in that big white house that most of would never get to live in. The President has more information about things that affect this country than we do….leave them alone and let them do their jobs. I am glad that M is concentrating on emphasizing the importance of an education to the kids. In today’s world, we need more than a high school education or a GED to get anywhere. Look at all the college graduates that are working for minimum wage—even a BS is not enough education. We are in the Information Age and we will see major changes in the way we live and work in the next 10-20 years. Stop fighting the changes and go with the flow. I did not vote for Obama but he IS the President of our country and I support him. I may not agree with everything he does, but he has my respect. And leave his color out of it—-the world is a melting pot of all colors. His race had nothing to do with his knowledge or ability to do his job. Let’s concentrate on more important issues. Oh, yeah, who said that the U.S. is paying for their vacation? Don’t a lot of us take vacations? He is the President and Air Force One and the security of our First Family is important and just part of his job. Leave them alone and let’s concentrate on the real issues!By Sharron Smith

I’m not a fan of Obama family. I see nothing attractive about either of the parents. I’m old school, show some respect & class. Her wardrobe should be burned and crop pants would have shown more style—she has no style and is quite common looking. Really not photogenic at all and we have better things to worry about.
