Sherri Shepherd gets Brazilian wax for ‘The View’ (Video)
Sherri Shepherd took a few yanks and pulls in the name of beauty on the Thursday, July 30, episode of ABC’s “The View.”
The comedian, a View co-host, got her first ever Brazilian wax with camera’s rolling for a “View Video Album” segment.
She was shocked that she was not offered any pain numbing medication.
“Bleep beauty,” Shepherd said, actually using the word ‘bleep.’
Shepherd will show off the work she’s done to get beach ready. She’ll walk on stage in a bathing suit Thursday, August 6.
“This is worse than having a baby,” she said, between pulls.

How mean. I’m so sick of some of the posters on DD online always finding something negative and nasty to say about a story, or a person or a situation. Sometimes you all need to keep your mouths shut if you have nothing good to say. We live in a poor economy, jobs are leaving our city, most news is negative and the last thing we need is haters always posting something vile for people to read. If you don’t like a story just don’t post about it. When there is something you like, then post about it. We need more positive people in the world, not negative.By becky

To Anti-hater: You’re right, so why did you post? LOL! So stupid. I am not a hater, but this article was pretty stupid. And, this article or my post has nothing to do w/the economy. It’s just funny that you are so worked up about a video clip of nothing but her fat face and we all know she was getting her nastiness taken care of. Good for her! I agree with her on that. Sherri’s pretty darn funny, but that’s a bad mental image. When’s Elizabeth getting it done? She’s annoying as all get-out, but that’s a mental image… gotta go!By guys too

I waxed on my back and front. It is not that bad, many times when you see it on film and tv it is exaggerated. Maybe it depends on where you go and how good they are at it. My esthetician told me she does some Brazilians and yes it is sensitive there. Some places do them for guys too. Anything for beauty. When it comes to vanity susceptibility is a stalker that knows no bounds. And the haters, they must be the most unhappy people on the planet. Maybe in death they will find happiness, I know the rest of us will when it comes knocking on their door. Then everyone will be happy!By flipper

I got a Portuguese wax but it was not as good and did not last as long. Next I’ll try a Belgium buff.
