The rockabilly shop is Barker’s first.

Suspect arrested in “Idol” contestant’s death

A New Jersey man has been arrested on charges he ran down two-time “American Idol” contestant Alexis Cohen, The Asbury Park Press reports.

Daniel Bark, 23, of Toms River, was arrested 6 p.m. Sunday, July 26.

He is charged with causing Cohen’s death by reckless driving and then leaving the scene of the collision, the newspaper reports.

Cohen, 25, of Allentown, Pa., was killed Saturday in Seaside Heights, New Jersey when a car struck her, according to the Associated Press.

You may remember Cohen from the fit she threw after being rejected by American Idol judges during the show’s eight season.

She called Simon Cowell “a big, fat bad word” among other things.

He said she looked like Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin in “Spider-Man.”
