Elvis impersonator fights for the right to gyrate on Vegas Strip
And you thought Elvis Presley cleared the way for every man, woman and child to don a jumpsuit and “shake it baby, shake it.”
Well, not everyone and not on the Vegas Strip.
The ACLU is suing Nevada’s Clark County on behalf of musician Suzette Banasik and Elvis the Pelvis impersonator William Jablonski , the Las Vegas Sun reports.
Banasik, Jablonski and other street performers are routinely harassed by the ‘cruel’ coppers when they preform on sidewalks in front of casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, the lawsuit claims according to the newspaper’s report.
The lawsuit is one of a series filed against Vegas and Clark County concerning alleged violations of free speech on the Vegas Strip and the Freemont Street Experience.
