Fear the ‘Beast’ at Midnight, Kings Island staying open late on Fourth
From Natalie Knoth, Staff Writer
You thought the Delirium was scary in the daytime. But how delirious would you feel riding it on July 4th at midnight?
And wouldn’t the Flight of Fear seem just a tad more fearsome with the light of the moon upon you?
Kings Island visitors will get to experience a nocturnal Independence Day.
The park in Mason will stay open until midnight. At 10 p.m. the largest Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks display ever will light up the skies.
Also worthy of celebration is the 30th “birthday” of the Beast.
If you’re looking to arrive in the evening, Starlight admission tickets can be purchased online in advance at a discounted rate of $24.99.
The tickets are good after 5 p.m. any day the park is open to the public (4 p.m. on days the park closes at 8).
Kings Island will be open until midnight on several other Saturdays: July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 1.
