‘Pedicabs’ now at The Greene

Now there is no need to walk around the Greene to get your shop on.

Starting today, Thursday, June 4, TrykeCabs operated by the nonprofit HK Tryke will offer rides anywhere within the 72 acre mixed-use complex, Steiner + Associates, The Greene’s developer, announced Wednesday, June 3.

The service will be free, but gratuity-supported so plan on chipping in.

According to its website, HK Tryke’s tricycle parks and related services “generate revenue to fund nationally accredited childcare programs and facilities to children in areas that may not have access.”

I wasn’t aware that the ‘GREENE’ was large enough to warrant those. Another novelty that will induce the populace to obesity. How hard is it to just walk the entire mall… And I have seen how ‘generous’ people are at that mall.. Gook Luck!!

I agree…walking is good for you but what about people who are recovering from an illness, a surgery, or something that limits their stamina. It’s good for them to be out and I think it is nice to have the comfort of knowing you can go out and get some exercise while rehabing from an illness or surgery and know someone will be there to help you if you need it.

To the owners of the Pedi cab company be careful and carry a lot of insurance. The pedi-cab co.in Key West just lost a lawsuit to the tune of$1,000,000.after somefell.

I’d like to bring up a related subject, shopping carts. Since when did they become a crutch? Seriously, look around the next time you wander in a walmart. The fatest of the fat lean on the cart because they can’t even support their own fat a**e.must lean on the cart

You know, if you don’t want to utilize the services, then don’t. Why do people feel it necessary to make fun of others just because they don’t share the same opinions?

Well I’m glad all you marathon runners think this is a bad idea. As someone who was injured in an accident and has problems walking more than a couple hundred feet without severe pain, I welcome this service. Oh, and Ted, since you aren’t bright enough not to post the same thing twice, I’d watch those remarks about people who aren’t perfect.

I don’t see this as something about weight and fitness. I see it as an opportunity to bring something new and unique to the Dayton area. I think it is a cool and worthwhile venture. Good Luck, HK Tryke!!!

And before someone complains that I made 3 posts, yes, I did click on the Post your comment a couple times because I didn’t see anything happening with my computer.
