Airline considers charging passengers to use the potty

Let’s just hope the penny pinching American airlines don’t read the London Telegram.

The newspaper reported Friday, Feb. 27, that low-cost European airline Ryanair might start charging passengers to use the potty.

Airline chief executive Michael O’Leary told the BBC that Ryanair might install a coin slot on the restroom door so that “people might actually have to spend a pound to spend a penny,” the newspaper reported.

When you think about it, I mean really think about it, is it that far a stretch of the imagination to think that American airliners would consider the same move?

Some already charge extra for headphones, checked bags, window seats and snacks.

Outrageous!

What do you think? What’s next, a $10 charge for TP? Comment below.

And if a fella doesn’t have any spare change, I reckon he can just open the door and hang it outside and go? The airlines need to seriously re-think this one, folks.

The next time you are in the hospital take the plastic urinal with you. I can just see the line of guys emptying their containers as they leave the plane. The women will then have the same protest they had for so long at the ball park—unequal and insufficient facilities.

There are already many pay-toilets in Europe, so this doesn’t really surprise me.

This is going to far I guess if you dont have change on the plane you must go to the bathroom in your pants come on… this will never happen in america what if you cant get your change out in time and go on yourself they should seriously rethink this I would never ride that airline if I lived in europe

The astronauts wear NASA knickers here in Texas when they travel by car to Florida. (Depends)

What the article does not say is that you pay to go to the toilet in nearly all European restrooms anyway, including McDonalds. They are all very clean, and attended by a matron. Will there be a matron standing outside the door on the plane??

Hope you have a lot of change in hand if you end up stuck on the plane with diarrhea.
