Walls going up for Sonic that is replacing White Castle
The White Castle that once feed the masses at 2890 Wilmington Pike in Kettering is long gone.
But don’t despair fast food lovers.
The walls of the Sonic restaurant that will take its place began going up the week beginning Jan. 12, said Tom Robillard, the city of Kettering’s director of planning and development.
Construction should be complete by late March, he said, adding that this is Kettering’s first Sonic.
Will you eat at the new Sonic or are you still steamed that White Castle is gone?
