Dayton flyboys make it a “Night at the Museum”
Dayton’s own Wilbur and Orville Wright, or at least actors playing them, appear in the Ben Stiller flick “Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian” set to be released in May. (See the trailer below.)
Several historical figures, including Amelia Earhart, Al Capone, Einstein and Teddy Roosevelt, are portrayed in this, the second in the Night at the Museum movie series.
Thomas Lennon plays Wilbur and Robert Ben Garant plays Orville. The Wright Flyer also gets camera time.
The movie’s plot has Stiller’s character, security guard Larry Daley, going to to the Smithsonian Institute to rescue Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan).
The Wrights have been portrayed in several other movies. Click here and here to see a list.
