I love my email. But, I run my own mail servers and have extensive spam blocking systems in place that do quite a good job of keeping my inbox clean. Especially the Cyrillic stuff, which has been around for a long time. Plus, I do check email while on vacation. It only takes me about 5 minutes per day and makes life infinitely easier when I return from vacation.
