Did your favorite make the “Idol” summer tour?
The Top 10 “American Idol” finalists will be part of the next “Idols Live” summer tour.
They are: Siobhan Magnus, Lee Dewyse, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Didi Benami, Michael Lynche, Crystal Bowersox, Andrew Garcia, Katie Stevens and Tim Urban.
Paige Miles, who judge Simon Cowell said more than once had the best voice of the female contestants, will not be joining them after the results of this week’s nationwide vote were revealed. Paige had struggled with song choice since Hollywood Week, suffered from laryngitis and just generally was unable to showcase what kind of artist she’d be.
The bottom three also included the very lucky Tim Urban (who managed to not even be part of the original Top 24 and has made it far enough to go on tour) and Katie Stevens, although Katie didn’t get a chance to sit down on the last of the three stools before host Ryan Seacrest sent her back to safety.
Only four ladies remain in the competition. Let’s see if Simon’s early prediction of a female winner still holds true. My money’s on Crystal Bowersox, but every season has its share of surprises. Let’s not forget Adam Lambert was the favorite all last season and ended up coming in second.
The rest of Thursday’s results show was basically a Disney Channel reunion and teen/tween dream, with performances by Miley Cyrus (this week’s mentor to the contestants), Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.
At least it kept the younger “Idol” fans entertained.

Tim is so bad, and lucky that little girls like him because he should have been gone weeks ago.Paige going was the right call…Tim, Andrew or Didi should be next with Katie possibly in that mix of mediocrity.

Take tim home. he sucks. i haven’t heard a performance of his that i liked at all.

I’m so bored with this year’s contestants, I’ve stopped watching…but not stopped reading about it the next day!

I think Katie should have been in the bottom 2, not Tim. He’s performed better than Katie. Other than that, Paige was completely the right person to go home. I haven’t heard her be on key for even one performance and she has very annoying singing habits. Glad she’s gone so I don’t have to listen to that anymore.
