‘American Idol’s’ Josiah talks about his experience
Many of the reality TV shows have disclaimers near the end each show that mentions the producers have the final say about who stays and goes. It has always appeared this has been done to help keep the drama level going full speed ahead.
Perhaps, not for the sake of drama but, rather for the sake of extending the weepy moments to the max the producers of American Idol gave a lot of air time to Josiah Leming only to send him packing.
In an interview with Access Hollywood the rejected idol contestant said, ;
“My belief is that they were trying to make me look bad. They were trying to make me look like a crybaby and then trying to make me look like I was overconfident - but I’m thankful. If I could see them right now, I would give them the biggest hug ever because they have launched my career.”
Luckily for the Josiah, he didn’t go on to the finals and was only required to keep his “mouth shut” until the top 24 show aired.
All the attention has been good for Josiah. His album is currently available for purchase online on his myspace page. Access Hollywood is reporting the teen has sold more than 1,000 albums.
This teen clearly made a mistake in the auditions by sending the band away. Josiah is talented and despite not being selected for Idol, it appears he’s on his way!

Josiah is clearly a talented young man and has an engaging personality. He appears to have a history that might be elevate early interest in the public wanting to see him have some success. I mean, I think there’s at least one country song that tells his story or one very much like it. So good luck Josiah. That all being said, nobody made him look like a crybaby. He is a crybaby. It does seem that he could cut those tears off pretty quickly when the message seemed to start going in another direction, so he might be a little bit manipulative, too. All in all, not a bad combination for success in Hollywood.
