Vincent’s dress was trash! - Project Runway 3

Ok, all of the designs were trash this week (AUG 16) on Project Runway. But really, Vincent’s was the worst and he should have been sent back to the recycling center with his design. His design reminded me more of what I would imagine if Avery mailing labels would meet packing paper, UGH!

This week’s challenge included a trip to the recycling center where the designers collected the bulk of their materials. Later they were off to a craft store where, each designer spent $25 to accessorize their recycled creations. The rest was pure creativity, or not in some cases. Here are few photos of the designs

From the poll on the show’s web site, it appears that most of those voting agreed that Vincent’s was the worst and that Jeffery’s design should have won. Tim Gunn agrees. On his blog this week, he called Vincent’s look “God-awful” and commented that is was difficult for the model to walk in his “preposterous creation.” Tim went on to call Allison’s departure a “tragic outcome.” I would agree.

While I really don’t care for Jeffery, I would agree, his design was clearly the most inspired, wearable, creative and most original. See the results of the voting at Project Runway’s website.

Should have Vincent gone home? I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this week’s episode!

Vincent should have deffinetly gone home. Allisons design may not have been the best but it was better then Vincent’s. Allison’s design up to that point were amazing. I believe Jeffrey’s design most deffinetly should have won no doubt about it. He may not be the nicest person in the competition but his design should have won. He should have gone hope for the past challenge. His attitude was horrible and disrespectful.

Michael’s designs have been consistently excellent, and he deserved to win some of the earlier episodes — in which he was quietly passed over, probably because the producers were saving him for later. I’d be suprised if he and Laura don’t make it to the final three. Jeffrey’s painted newspaper dress was really good — but his work doesn’t have the consistent quality of Michael’s & Laura’s. Vincent is a lot of fun and I always want to see what he has come up with. I wouldn’t mind seeing him in the final three, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. When Cheater Keith was sent home, they should have brought peculiar Malan back! He had a lot of vision, and left too soon, scuttled by the Miss Universe gown.

Yes Vincent should have gone home. His design style represents and era long gone or worse yet that never was. In contrast, Allison who has been more than adept eahc week had a dress that was at least wearable and the model could at least move in it. I applaud Laura for calling him on it.

All of the designs this week were “trash” literally, but the one who always seems to amaze me is Michael Knight of Atlanta, GA. He always makes something sexy and classy and I would walk the runway in his design anytime!!

I was so annoyed they sent Alison packing. Overall, she’s done a much better job than Vincent; he’s been in the bottom three at leat three times. Plus, that dress was hideous.

Jeffery definitely deserved to win last week’s challenge. I think he’s looked at as the next Santino (who I thought had a lot of talent) and he’s always dissed, no matter how good his designs are. Michael is my favorite designer so far and he also did a great job last week, but Jeffery deserved to win that challenge. Allison isn’t all she’s cracked up to be and either is Uli. To tell you the truth I wasn’t sad to see her go. Vincent is crazy but he adds some interest to the show. It might take away an element of fun when he’s kicked off. I just CAN’T WAIT to get rid of Angela. No matter how cool her “Audrey Hepburn” dress was, she should have gone WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!

I completely agree that Vincent’s dress was the most hideous thing I have just about ever seen! What were the judges thinking?! Innovative or not, the dress (if you can call it that) was not able to be walked in, and was a plain-as-day straight shapeless thing with “stuff” glued all over it! Good lord I hope he goes home soon.
