‘AI’ Taylor difficult off stage and is Kat movie bound?

The hype is dwindling and America is moving on to the next guilty pleasure; however, the American Idol news and gossip doesn’t stop.

According to a backstage mole, Taylor’s off stage personality got on the nerves of at least one of the producers. Rumor has it that not all of the Idol big wigs are happy with this year’s winner.

And speaking of his off stage personality, according to one reporter, Taylor is calling himself Tay Tay and has turned his name into a verb.

On the Katharine side of things…The look on her face when Taylor was announced American Idol was not one of shock or dismay but relief. After she received a call from Steven Spielberg asking for a meeting, she shared with a couple of her Idol friends that she wasn’t sure winning this thing was the best thing for her.

Looks like they both won!

It’s confirmed! http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060601/nyth150.html?.v=47 Kelle, I think you should go to one of the shows, you know, as journalistic research; and you should take along a fan, you know, like,I dunno, maybe me??!!! :)

Kat + movies = heaven for this Kat packer and movie buff. Ah, me! :) BTW, I’ve noticed that Over the Rainbow has not only subbed out Think for Kat’s single, but also seems to be the A-side INSTEAD of My Destiny. Plus, she’s been performing Rainbow in her TV appearances of late. What a kick it would be for her to put Rainbow on the charts!

I’ll admit that I’ve had more time to do other things now that AI is over for the season, but I do miss it already. I’m sure the void will fill and I’ll find other creative things to do with my time. As far as Tay-Tay getting on some nerves, I can actually see that. His personality would not be for everyone. He was a favorite, but not a runaway favorite. I’m just anxious to see what he does with this opportunity. Will he follow in the footsteps of Kelly & Carrie, or will he become a Rubin? Losing will not be the worst thing that has ever happened to Ms. McPhee. Clay was the loser to Rubin and has had much success. I wish her and all of the rest of them (especially Elliott) good fortune.

Well, maybe he’s not perfect but he is more gracious than Kat. And while she had the voice, it was not real. I don’t think many people are the same at home as they are on a public platform. I hope he really is a good guy though. Regards,
