Lakota West’s Cox weighs in on Bailie’s resignation

With Greg Bailie resigning as head football coach at Lakota East on Tuesday, Nov. 17, that leaves Lakota West’s Larry Cox as the longest-tenured coach in the Greater Miami Conference.

Bailie came to Lakota in 1993 and took over the East program in ‘97 when the school split into East and West. Cox has been at West since the school’s inception.

“I’ve got a lot of respect for Greg,” Cox said. “Greg ran a clean program. His teams were always fundamentally sound. You were going to have to beat them to win the game. They weren’t going to give you anything. I felt like he was definitely a respected opponent.”

Good ol’ Larry can’t stand it if someone else has the spotlight. I think he talks just to hear himself. I’m surprised he hasn’t pitched a reality show about him & Jordan Hicks to ESPN. I hope I just didn’t give him that idea. Larry Cox is an attention whore.

All of these haters are getting really old! Cox has three of the best players in soutwest Ohio, of course he is going to get a lot of attention! Hicks is the best linebacker in the COUNTRY, so I like to hear about his recruiting!!!!
