Lakota West boys basketball roster, scrimmage schedule
Although he hasn’t put together the official varsity roster yet, first-year Lakota West High boys basketball coach Sean Van Winkle has an idea of who will dress with the big club.
They are: seniors Obi Nwankwo, Robert Cartwright, John Peters, Jordan Hicks, Jordan Griffin, Brian Straus, Alex Smith and Matt Stafford; and juniors Dylan Romero, Phil Cook, Matt Fox and Korey Ward.
The Firebirds will host a six-team scrimmage on Saturday, Nov. 21, with Ross, Bethel-Tate, Madison, Centerville and Withrow.
Then on Wednesday, Nov. 25, West travels up to UD Arena to scrimmage Moeller and Dublin Coffman. The Firebirds finish up the preseason hosting Lebanon, Taft and Dayton Dunbar on Saturday, Nov. 28.

surprised the smith kid is on the roster - heard the lakota schools had a zero tolerance policy
