Mason boys soccer ‘exceeded expectations’
Despite losing in the Division I regional semifinals to Beavercreek, Mason High boys soccer coach Paul Reedy said his club has nothing to hang its head about.
On Tuesday night, Nov. 3, the Comets fell 3-2 in a shootout, ending their season with a record of 16-2-2, including GMC and district championships.
“I’m very proud of this group,” Reedy said. “I think they exceeded expectations. They won a great, tough GMC conference. They were district champions. Yeah, it’s disappointing, but I think we’ll be able to look back in a few days and feel very good about what we were able to accomplish.”
