Beavercreek wins in PKs

Beavercreek wins in a shootout 4-2 to grab a 3-2 victory over Mason in this Division I boys soccer regional semifinal game at Lakota West High School.

Mason’s Alex Newport scored to tie it up at 2-2 with 3:38 to go in regulation.

Beavercreek took a 2-1 lead on Dustin Wright’s second goal with 26:55 left in the game.

Wright found the back of the net off a 50-yard direct kick from Steven Clark with 10:07 remaining in the first half.

Mason scored first on Alex Hamm’s goal off an assist from Caleb Eastham just 2:41 into the match.
