Top staff leave Ohio Republican Party

Three long-time, key Ohio GOP staff members are leaving the organization on the heels of Kevin DeWine being re-elected as the state party chairman.

Ohio Republican Party Executive Director Jason Mauk is leaving to become communications director for the Ohio Senate; Communications Director John McClelland is expected to join the communications staff for Secretary of State Jon Husted; and Political Director Jonathan Gormley will pursue consulting opportunities.

“Now is the time to move on. Think about it: we’ve all been here a long time. I’m the newbie and I’ve been here six years,” McClelland said.

DeWine, of Fairborn, was just re-elected to a two-year term by unanimous vote of the 66-member State Central Committee on Jan. 9.

Knowledgeable sources said Gov. John Kasich sought to replace DeWine with his own party chairman but did not have the votes to unseat him.

DeWine could not be reached for comment.

Khalid Sheikh Muhammad (the al-Qaeda mastermind of the 9/11 attacks) came out of the Kuwaiti Muslim Brotherhood! So don’t tell me the Islam Brotherhood is peaceful. All they talk about is going to war with Israel. That’s what will happen with Egypt if they take control. They believe in Sharia law, and 80% of them believe it is okay to murder someone if they leave the religion, and in cutting off someone’s hand if they steal, and that women have no rights and can be put to death for being raped if they don’t have the required number of witnesses. Islam Brotherhood wants to go to war with Israel as soon as they get power. They are lying right now and claiming to be peaceful, but they aren’t. They want to get in power in Egypt and take over. Forget democracy unless it looks like Iran. Iran is in the process of trying to kill the people who headed the latest rebellion. That’s democracy Islam Brotherhood style! Everyone who doesn’t believe is considered a “dog” and not worthy of living. That’s Islam Brotherhood. They are NOT for peace. They are for a one world order, and they intend to take over the U.S. as well.

Here is one passage in the Bible that tells you that GOD will blind your eyes so that you can’t see the truth BECAUSE you didn’t want to see the truth. 2Thessalonians 2: 9-12 The coming of the lawless one (anti-Christ) will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Steve, did you forget the over 2,000 people killed on 9/11 by Islam radicals? What a peaceful religion Islam is, huh? Has God blinded your eyes so that you can’t see because you refused the truth? Israel is surrounded by Islam radicals, yet she’s still here. Read the Bible and find out the end to the story, Steve, if you can see through those blurry eyes, that is.

Have you ever opened the Bible, Steve? No? That’s why you didn’t know where the One World Order came from, huh?

Steve, you Schmuck! New World Order…One World Order…You can check it out in the books of the Bible, and it was well before a Republican was ever born…it was predicted by holy men of old, moved by the Holy Ghost, THOUSANDS of years ago. Although the Bible can be interpreted many different ways (especially if you aren’t being led by the Holy Ghost), this point is undisputed.

Well SQgirl your wrong again. I am a 44 year old white man, your racist mind automatically assume I was an african american. that aside if your so good at research and looking up things, look up were the term “New world order” comes from Brent Scowcroft said it after the Berlin wall fell in 1989 while he was the National Security Advisor to President George H.W. Bush. This whole idea of new world order is rooted in the republicans honey, just as John Kasucks preens over his ultra rich buddies in hopes of making them more money while he puts our state in the tank. The United States of America is a democracy Shuggs, that has a REPUBLICAN form of government. you need to quit hitting the bottle so early in the day and actually read what others write. It’s evident you have FAR too much time on your inebriated mind, try volunteering or something and put the sauce down. Why didn’t mention W’s 2 wars over the past 10 years that have killed over 4,000 of my fellow veterans and God only knows how many innocent civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan how much has that cost this country SQgirl? I’ll give you till tomorrow so you can sober up.~

Republicans fought to free the slaves. Republicans fought for civil rights legislation. The census shows that during 2002-2007 more blacks became entrepeanuers. Same thing during the Reagan years. Facts are just hard pills for democrats to swallow. I prefer the police and the firefighters not to strike. We have all seen what the teachers’ unions have done to education. Do you want firefighters to care about doing their job or just bankrupting the taxpayers?

I may be the only one who believes this, but the world events going on right now coincide with what the books of the Bible predicted thousands of years ago. I didn’t realize until just recently that the one world order looks like what is going on right now in Europe, Asia and Africa right now. The riots in Greece and Egypt are a direct result of this one world order agenda, and it is all tied in with Islam Brotherhood dominance and Sharia Law. Sharia Law will not tolerate any other law, and will actively seek to “cleanse” of all opposing views. Egyptians may be seeking a democracy, but they will be getting Islam Brotherhood. This is the same religion that wants to immediately declare war against Israel. They cut your hand off if you steal, and they stone a woman to death if she was raped and didn’t have the required number of “witnesses”—Sharia Law should not be tolerated in the United States. This is not Islam hate language, this is calling out an enemy to individual freedom. Communists, Socialists, Islam Brotherhood, and Unions are all one in agreement when it comes to seeking the overthrow of free governments. Unions are donating millions of dollars to Egypts’ overthrow, while saying they don’t have enough money to pay the pensions of those who actually worked for that money that was in the pension funds. Please google the riots in Greece and look at the Union’s signs, and you will see they are communists. Do everything you can do to stop the American unions from donating your pension funds to the overthrow of foreign governments! Demand transparency!

While I’m making you sick, Steve, perhaps you should ponder on your liberal buddies who stole from the social security lock box, not Kasich who hasn’t. I think you are a bit mixed up. Maybe your prejudiced mind won’t let you see straight. If you did, you would agree with me that we are now going through some exceptionally hard times directly due to the policies and politics coming from this current Obama left wing radical administration. There’s no way you can blame all of this on George W. George wasn’t perfect, but our unemployment rate was half of what it is now, over 2 years after Obama took the presidential office. George Bush tried to stop some of the waste going on with Freddie and Fannie. Under the Obama administration, Fannie owns a patent on a switch cover that will keep American citizens from being able to use their electrical switches in their own homes. Under the Obama administration, the coal industry is being attacked. Along with the moratorium on oil drilling and the monetizing of our national debt, Obama is creating a situation where our country is now even more dependent on foreign oil. Obama’s green initiative is costing 3 jobs for every one created, plus it is costing the tax payers who are subsidizing green companies that can’t be profitable on their own. Energy prices are indeed “skyrocketing” directly due to Obama’s actions in office. Add to all of that his job killing hc fiasco bill, and you have a prescription for the overthrow of our Republic. We cannot continue to spend and borrow, and it will come to an end, sometime soon. Either we stop spending or we will go bankrupt, lose our ability to reborrow the money, and the resulting immediate withdrawal of entitlements will make us look like Greece and Egypt. There will be riots. The unions are one with the Communists. Their logo “Workers of the World Unite” is on their signs and their flags. They are stealing money from their members pensions funds and donating millions of dollars to over throw the Egyptian government so that Islam Brotherhood can take over. They all have the same goal, a one world order, and an Islam takeover of all of the countries in the world.

IMO if we could put the past behind us and go forward, no matter what your race, creed, religion, etc., we would be a better country and more able to discuss our differences. But no, there are people who want free handouts because they perceive themselves as persecuted and think everyone else owes them something. We have black tv programming (BET) which helps to separate the black population. I came from a rather poor family, and I don’t owe anyone anything but MUTUAL respect. That means you don’t call me a dummy for being a Republican, or call me a racist because I don’t agree with Obama. When I call Obama a socialist, it is because he follows socialist politics, not because I’m trying to call him a derogatory term. In my heart, I believe he is a socialist, even if he is now attempting to appear more moderate. I don’t believe any of it. I believe in a free enterprise system, where our gov’t doesn’t own us and doesn’t redistribute our wealth; however, under Obama there has been so much regulation, so much of an attempt to rule our personal lives, and I do resist this intrusion. I will never agree with a hc plan that provides for abortions (baby killing) which is against my personal beliefs. I will never agree with a hc plan that provides for our govt officials to make life/death decisions based on emergency lack of funding on whether or not older Americans get life saving surgery or medicines (death panels). I will never agree with Obama’s hc plan which mandates purchasing insurance. And I will not agree with a hc plan that nationalizes hc and collects personal medical information on all of its citizens. Our politicians are politically driven and totally incapable of being fair, and we’ve already seen Health and Family Services employees use govt computers to distribute e-mail and steal government personal information records of citizens and release it for media publication.

No one is saying what happended 400 years ago is the problem. The problem is that at one point in time that was the culture and it was ok. Do I believe that there are folks who still have that oppression mind set of another’s race, beliefs, and culture still exist? Yes. See you sound like someone who would approve of the stereotypes that exist and when someone breaks the mold you get angry. Like now. All I’m saying is don’t hate because someone wants to break the mold that was established to make a group feel powerful.

Squirrelly girl, I don’t know what slavery has to do with the Ohio Republican Party but your facts are a few centuries off. The first African slave stepped foot in Winyah Bay, present day South Carolina in 1526 transported and owned by Spanish explorer Lucas Vasquez de Ayllon. You can check your own facts by using Internet as a informational tool rather than an opportunity and device to spew nonsense. Sincerely, Educated And Responsible American

“Before the widespread establishment of chattel slavery (outright ownership of a human being, and of his/her descendants), much labor was organized under a system of bonded labor known as indentured servitude. This typically lasted for several years for white and black alike. People paid with their labor for the costs of transport to the colonies. They contracted for such arrangements because of poor economies in their home countries.” The Israelites were slaves of the Egyptians and built the great pyramids. Blacks are not the only race to be slaves. There aren’t any black people alive who were slaves. My grandfather came over on a boat from Hungary, and they were very poor and often worked a whole day just to be able to bring home something to eat. I’m saying that everyone has had it rough, but we need to live for today. You can’t blame anything on 200 years ago. Try to be the best you can be, and nobody can take that away from you. And be decent to everyone and treat everyone the same, no matter what they look like or what religion they believe. As long as a person’s religion doesn’t tell them to kill people of a certain race, I don’t care what they believe. But the Islam Brotherhood stands for war against Israel, and if Egypt elects them to head Egypt, you can say goodbye to America’s good relationship with Egypt—or maybe Obama will side with Egypt against Israel…who knows. Obama did diss Israel recently, so perhaps he already was planning to diss them. I just don’t agree with Obama on any of his socialist politics. He’s done nothing but damage our country. People no longer revere America has a leading power anymore.

I voted for Kasich because under Strickland’s watch we lost a bunch of jobs and companies in Ohio due to an unfriendly business environment. I voted for Kasich because I’m tired of Strickland spending money we don’t have on less productive things that don’t help us, but instead are wasteful…like the new recycling bins with microchips imbedded in them to measure how much we are recycling so they can decide later to levy taxes on us in case the gov’t thinks we aren’t recycling enough. Or the trains that would require continual tax payer subsidies to finish the trains and continue operations because they aren’t self sufficient. I voted for Kasich because I was tired of watching Strickland always looking for more ways to levy taxes on us or increase our taxes instead of putting his own spending under scrutiny. I voted for Kasich because Strickland was wrong, and wouldn’t listen to the tax payers. That’s why he was voted out. Not because we voters are too stupid to run our own lives, or are too easily manipulated. But because Strickland is a socialist just like Obama, and needed to be kicked out of the government. This is a Republic, not a Democracy. And someone needs to notify our President of this, because he doesn’t seem to understand that. The reason I know this is that he doesn’t refer to our country as a Republic. He refers to as a Democracy, and he’s wrong. He wants us to be lined up with the one world order, and he’s doing everything he can to accomplish this.

One more thing, Steve, regarding the pensions and your accusation that GW put us in this mess. This mess would have been over long ago had Obama not overregulated and passed job killing bills, like the hc bill that is keeping potential businesses from hiring. The social security lockbox was robbed over and over again by liberal representatives who mismanaged the money and forked it out to special interest groups. We want that money paid back to the social security fund WITH INTEREST…and take it right back from the special interest groups that received it, too! I’m tired of seeing Obama farm our stimulus money out to China for jobs there. How about he stop redistributing our money and start securing our borders so that terrorist can’t sneak in through the Mexican/American border? Huh? And the moratorium on oil drilling in our waters only for Americans? That is forcing us to depend on foreign oil that much more. The only thing this moratorium is doing is creating more unemployment to make Americans even more dependent on depeleted supply welfare and food stamps. The moratorium of oil drilling and the monetizing our national debt is causing our dollar to be worth less and cause oil and gas to cost more and thus food prices are going up and the corn is being used for ethanol instead of feed for animals so that makes our food go up. Everything Obama has done is destroying our economy. Obama has been in charge for 2 years and is still blaming Bush when he himself has caused the calamity we are now seeing. The unemployment rate was about 1/2 of what it is now, and that isn’t Bush’s fault…in no way, and no how is it Bush’s fault. All you can see is that the president has black skin, so if his policies are attacked, it must be because of his skin color…it couldn’t possibly be that his political agenda is destroying our economy…right? You’re dead wrong, Steve. Dead wrong.

Because without even knowing me you accuse me of being a racist because I disagree with how Obama has secretly been trying to overthrow our government with socialism, but at the same time parading around like he is a moderate when he isn’t at all. That makes you a racist, Steve. Not me. I disagree with everything Obama has done since he has been in office, but disagreeing with his politics doesn’t make me a racist, it makes me an American. Americans are allowed to disagree with their president, unlike citizens of “democratic” countries like China or Egypt!

Steve, I am SO sick of being called a racist by someone who has NO CLUE as to how I feel about a black man or woman. I admire and respect President Obama. But I feel he is doing severe damage to our republic. Not from malice, but from his self imposed ignorance. I have heard him say so many times that employers aren’t hiring because they’re greedy. If a business cuts costs, they are greedy. If a union demands raises they are supporting the middle class. Contrary to what the Democrat Party thinks, all economic systems are governed by supply and demand. A business becomes more competitive by producing a product for less. The President thinks it is unamerican! I don’t oppose the President because he is black, I oppose the president because he is wrong on economics, and refuses to understand what made this country great!

SQgirl I don’t know were to begin with you, your rambling are amazing. We have a republican form of GOVERNMENT but we are a democracy. Do you understand that we elect people to work within the government because we as average citizens don’t have the time to run it ourselves. The only office in the entire country that is not decided through democracy is the office of president. Most all governments throughout the world have some kind of program that is derived from the concept of socialism. I’m not happy with the HC bill that was passed but we do have to start somewhere. Not to beat a dead horse but GW but our country in a big pot of crap in his eight years of office and I think more than anything your racist butt like the rest that bad mouth the president can’t stand the fact that a black man was elected. Those in that catagory will go to the ends of the earth to discredit and reject anything that he brings to the table. I’ve seen enough Obama quote videos to know that he doesn’t believe in our Republic. He doesn’t call us a Republic, but he does call us a Democracy. Also, I saw him on video with my own eyes telling Joe the Plumber that he had to spread his wealth around and let others get in front of him. And I’ve seen the communist Van Jones make some mighty radical comments, too (remember, he was ousted from office in the middle of the night). And another czar of Obama’s wants to sterilize our drinking water in secret and the manufacturing czar doesn’t believe in capitalism. So I guess it is all just one big coinkidinki, huh? How about the flag burnings? And flying around the world apologizing for America and bowing to our enemies? And sending our stimulus money to China, Venezuela, etc. for jobs there instead of here? Squirrelly - here’s the info on Truth or Fiction: Barack Obama Explains Why He Didn’t Follow Protocol During the National Anthem-Fiction! Summary of the eRumor: Senator and presidential candidate Barack Obama explains why he did not follow protocol during the playing of National Anthem at a campaign appearance and why he doesn’t wear a lapel pin of the American flag. The Truth: This email is a hoax. Obama Pin eRumor: We have noticed that the President began sporting the traditional US Flag on his lapel shortly after taking office. The photos above were taken from the White House web site. The photo above on the left was taken from the video of a press conference as President Barack Obama addressed the media regarding the BP Oil Crisis. The image on the right was taken of President Obama delivering a weekly address on January 24, 2009. Notice the US Flag pinned to his left lapel. Obama Explains his Failure to Salute eRumor: It is true that Obama was photographed at a campaign event in Iowa failing to hold his hand over his heart in salute of the flag during the National Anthem. CLICK HERE for that story. But this particular eRumor, which quotes him as saying that the American flag is “…a symbol of oppression” and that the National Anthem “conveys a war-like message” is not true. The alleged quote is from the pen of columnist John Semmens of The Arizona Conservative. He writes what he calls “Semi-news — A Satirical Look at Recent News.” It was in that column on 10/27/07 that he wrote the text of what has been circulated in this email. It’s satire, not an actual quote from Obama.

This is one reason I like to watch the Glenn Beck show and Fox News channel. They play the actual videos where Obama and his cohort are on tape saying these things. I saw on video the Black Panthers harassing voters, and everyone knows by now that our AG instructed that reverse discrimination would not be prosecuted. Don’t be seduced by the “new” Obama who appears to be sliding more down the middle than the far left as he did the first two years of his presidency. He’s the same cat and has the same agenda that he always did. I wonder how involved Obama is in perpetuating the one world order.

Nice to know she finally is proud of America…or is she? And Obama? The way I can tell when he’s lying is I check to see if his lips are moving… I heard him recently say that he does believe in capitalism…but he told Joe the Plumber something very different… Then I remember Joe’s personal information being broadcasted all over all of the media stations on the news, and the chick at Health and Family Services lost her job, and now she got a promotion and is making more money. I wonder if she still has access to government personnel records?

This is a Republic, not a Democracy. Apparently Obama doesn’t know that. However, I found this regarding how Obama feels about our flag. This may give you a clue as to what kind of leader our country has: Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag. Obama Explains National Anthem Stance Sun, 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, General Bill Ginn’ USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain why he doesn’t follow protocol when the National Anthem is played. The General also stated to the Senator that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171… During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. At the very least, ‘Stand and Face It’ Senator Obama Live on Sunday states, ‘As I’ve said about the flag pin, I don’t want to be perceived as taking sides, Obama said. ‘There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song ‘I’d Like To Teach the World To Sing.’ If that were our anthem, then I might salute it. ‘We should consider to reinvent our National Anthem as well as to redesign our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It’s my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we as a Nation of warring people, should conduct ourselves as the nations of Islam, whereas peace prevails. Perhaps a state or period of mutual concord between our governments. When I become President, I will seek a pact or agreement to send hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation have placed upon the nations of Islam an unfair injustice. My wife disrespects the Flag for many personal reasons. Together she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past, many years ago. She has her views and I have mine’. Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the United States and I have put aside my hatred. I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path of hope. My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country’s First Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America.’

Hey Squirrellyb*, I am in awe of the bravery of the Egyptians for using facebook and twitter to call a revolution instead of spending $4 billion dollars a month, thousands of Iraqi civilian deaths, 4000 dead U.S. soldiers and over 35,000 wounded at the cost of a dumba Republican president named Bush. I bet you support the Willie Lynch letter.

Don’t get tripped up on facts. How many companies, how many jobs did we lose under Stricknine’s watch? He turned a surplus into a deficit, just like magic, wala! Special interest groups are whining, but Kasich is doing the job he was elected to do. That’s how a REPUBLIC works! If you don’t like living in a REPUBLIC, perhaps you should move to EGYPT!! They LOVE American Socialists over there!

Did you ever stop to think that maybe Kasich wouldn’t have to cut so much if Obama hadn’t added a trillion dollars to our deficit with his hc fiasco bill? Kasich is doing his job. We need to get rid of Dept. of Education. We need to cut funding to our federal government so that it only has enough money to do the job it was supposed to do: secure our borders, provide for a strong national defense, and help in time of calamity. Obama administration has created a mess for our nation, and the Republicans who were newly voted in are simply attempting to do the will of the Americans who voted them in. Federal govt needs to do its job and stay away from regulating what we hear on radio, watch on tv, or what we eat. Americans can’t afford to pay the federal government to make decisions for us that we should be making for ourselves.

The socialist bloggers here crack me up. Kasich is working so that we will have a better economy and to help save our Republic. We must cut the government waste, we must cut programs that aren’t essential. If we don’t have the money, we shouldn’t be spending it like we do. That’s been the problem of this administration, and the monstrocity hc bill adding over a trillion dollars to our deficit. We should start there imo. This Congress will block funding for the hc bill, so at least we have that. Still waiting for our due process to decide that the hc bill is unconstitutional (in so many ways, including the mandate for everyone to purchase hc insurance or pay a penalty fee). We need more people like Kasich who will listen to the American people instead of pushing their left wing radical agenda. From what I understand, only approximately 18% of Americans believe in Socialism. The rest of us believe America should stay a Republic. We need to get rid of the newly created agencies that we didn’t need in the first place. Cut all special interest programs. Cut the Department of Education. Federal government should be doing it’s job: Securing our borders, providing for a strong national defense, and help in time of calamity. Stay away from regulating what we eat, what we hear on radio or watch on tv. Americans don’t need to pay the government to make decisions we should be making for ourselves. Are we paying for Ms. Obama to travel around and appear on tv shows? I’m just sayin’…

Some poser blogged using my callname above. Did you know that the unions use your pension fund money to push the One World Order and communism, but they don’t have money to pay their members what they owe them on their pensions? Unions are dirty and they are being exposed. All you have to do is open your eyes and you will see them for what they are. Look at the signs they use, the communist logos. “Workers of the world unite” is totally communist oriented. One World Order. George Soros. Unions. Obama. BTW, did you know that union money was being used in Egypt? But no money for the U.S. workers who are actually paying the bills…what are you going to do about it, union members?

Hey Philman,Union pensions and Union financial support for politicians have nothing to do with each other. Financial support for politicians comes from voluntary payroll deductions which go to a pac fund. Those of us who contribute do so enthusiastically because we know who supports working people and who doesn’t. Two great examples are Sherrod Brown who fights for working people every day and John kasich who will go down in history as the most anti-worker governor that this state has ever seen. What’s good for labor is good for non-union also, like fighting against bad trade deals, or workers compensation cuts,or cuts in workplace safety, or cuts to social security and medicare. If you really need to post, try including facts…

Good ol’ Philman uses reality puts it in perspective once again. It’s hard to understand how liberals can dig through all the so-called crap to find a way to spin the blame solely on Republicans, while being able to completely disregard and ignore the Democrats greasy little fingerprints. Did you all beleive Obama when he told O’Reilly he hasn’t raised taxes?

dhampton, are you and idiot. kasich has no control whatsoever over medicare. fact is states and fed have overspent and now we have to start making cuts, unless of course, you want to donate more of your money to them.

Have you heard all the Radio ads pumping up Sen. Brown? paid for by the Communications Union, these poor union saps are being told their is no money left in their Retirement accounts, yet the unions are spending MILLIONS on commercials, They said Brown will bring back Transparency to Govt. I guess they forgot Brown voted yes to the Over 2000 page healthcare bill that NO one ever read.Democrtas are Desperate and will say & do anything to get elected. & if you really want to know what started the whole Financial Crash go to youtube and look at the cspan video of Barney Frank when congress tried to reign in the Fannie Mae mess, Barney’s boytoy was head of it..that was in 2004 thank the democrats for shutting down that attempt.

Look, we Republicans have made mistakes. Yes, we crashed the economy, tripled the size of Government from 2000-2008, and gave Trillions of Taxpayers dollars to Wall Street Billionaires and Overseas investors. BUT you need us, because WE are the ONLY people who understand that Bible and what God wants you to do. So stop worrying about your tax dollars and listen to us because we know what’s best for you all ; )

Can Ohio really afford to be associated with realities considered outdated? Time to share a bigger piece of the pie or get pin pointed with shame throughout this obvious madness…Cant wait to see or hear more info regarding Ohio’s right to work plan.

@ Remorseful Ohio Voter, did you not know Ohio was already full of republicans in the house and senate? If your upset about congress then relax, they just took office let them get the ball rolling, besides Senate will block any decent bills they pass anyway…your gonna have to wait till 2012 for real change to take place.

@riverstink…you make a lot of sense. Since the sate and country is “already bankrupt” why not allow more crooks to bankrupt it some more? Why didn’t I think of that? I would have voted for Kasich too. Thank you for such an intelligent post.

Oh this is just the beginning, To elect someone who is so arrogant as to not disclose his income tax returns unlike the 10 candidates before him. Hiring all these folks that thrive on privatization of public entities for profit! Heck he quit being a congressman in pursuit if making more money. How’s that hope and change working for you republicans now, just wait till he’s done getting fat off all you lemmings that jumped off the financial cliff with him. Thanks for ruining our state!

Hundreds of thousands of republicans are singing the same song about Kasich and he hasn’t been in office 2 months. What “exactly” did you people think he was going to do? He is just getting started. When his term is over he will have gutted every public service the good people of Ohio have. Just wait till he gets started on Medicare. There will be so many uninsured people in this state we will resemble Mississippi or Tennessee. And.. Then he is going to turn all of the state pensions over to his friends on Wall Street where they are going to churn commissions after commission until your mom and dad have no money left to live off of. What did you think he was going to do?

Members of the ORP Central Committee are weak and mostly RINO’s so this is no surprise. It’s payback for the hundreds of thousands DeWine spent on helping old timers like Butler Counties Mary Swain and Tim Evans. The BC GOP are fools for electing them.
