Actors hunt for Boehner at golf course, tanning salon

Actors dressed as Founding Fathers Ben Franklin and George Washington went hunting for U.S. Rep. John Boehner, R-West Chester, in his congressional district to ask him to support the Fair Elections Now Act.

In the tradition of the Founding Fathers, they wore wigs, long-tailed coats and stockings. In the tradition of YouTube, they made a 3-minute video out of the expedition.

They looked for Boehner at his office, strip malls, a cornfield, a putt putt course, a golf course and of course, a tanning salon. And they needled him for raising money from special interest groups to support his bid to be the next House speaker while being a hold-out on the Fair Elections Now legislation.

The Fair Elections Now Act would allow Congressional candidates to raise a minimum of $50,000 from contributions of less than $100 and then qualify for federal public financing.

DANG! Just look how many well-paid, but poorly-trained, political operatives from all over the country jump into any comment section that concerns Boehner. They must have Google Alerts set to find them. Desperate little rats, aren’t they? But - TOO BAD! Big John will soon take the gavel from boney fingers of Cruella DeVille. HA! Too bad LEFTY!

cont. Unlike Boehner, Mr. Cassoule is not a career politician, but a member of the 8th district community. Unlike Boehner, Cassoule does not have millions of dollars from huge corporate donors. His is a grassroots campaign, supported by small contributors, like me, who are tired of having a Representative who votes against our best interests. Because he doesn’t have Big Money behind him, Cassoule’s campaign has not received much coverage from the media. I am pleased to have the chance to tell people that we 8th district voters have a choice, and a very good one, in Justin Cassoule. I don’t work for the Cassoule campaign, but I am very excited about this candidate.

Ah, nothing firms up my vote for Boehner than the foaming-at-the-mouth liberals here on the DDN blog. Thanks, liberals, for reaffirming the thought that he’s the right guy.

@null Justin Cassoule has appeared publicly multiple times, but the so-called “liberal media” has not covered these events. I know he has been to the Troy Strawberry Festival and the Miami County Fair. He will be in Troy this Saturday morning at 8am at the Night Sky Restaurant. I will be there to learn more about him. Anyone would be better than Boner!

Wendy, check out “NULLS” post, apparently some people in OH 8 are stupid enough to re-elect Boehner. Hmm, maybe he should open an office on the golf course, that way he’s be easy to find?

By the Way “NULL” the person you are degrading is a military veteran who served his country which is more than your boy Boehner has done on the Golf course. And since you are a veteran looking for “VA” help you should be ashamed of denigrating a fellow veteran.

The comment just made by “NULL” proves my point. People in Boehners district deserve to have record foreclosures, job shipped to India and China if they vote this arrogant SOB into office again. Some people you just can’t help.

I have contacted Boehner’s 3 times concerning VA problems. Always receivec a prompt response and assistance. This person running against him does not the gonads to appear piblicly, only to selected backing groups and has not given one statement of what he would do if in office, only given press releases. Appreciate you assistance John, you have my vote.

I know folks who live in Boehners district. Ever seen a town hall advertised on Boehners web site? No, thats cos he does not have them. Ever see pictures of him with constituents? No that’s cos he does not talk or associate with his constituents. However, the “smart” folks in his district will keep sending him back to congress. And yes folks I”m being sarcastic. If the folks in OH 8 send Boehner back again they need to have their head examined.

It is a good thing that we have a MODERATE MILITARY MAN WITH REAL FAMILY VALUES taking on a man who has been in office for 20 years now! Be serious, 20 years and NOW, he tried to blame the CURRENT administration of 18 months for the failures of the last 2 decades? REALLY? No one, Republican or Independent or Democrat is stupid enough to vote for him now.

Wow, so “John of Orange” Boehner is a “patriot?” Not so fast, grammaw! The guy is a sleazeball shill for the Ultra-Rich—the very people who moved so many U.S. jobs to China, Mexico and India. The average guy didn’t do it! If Boehner really were a “patriot”, he would look out for the economic condition of all U.S. citizens, not just the top 1 percent! The guy is as phony as a 3 dollar bill! He’s with the Pathetic Palin crowd who blame the victims (unemployed) of the Bush/Cheney economic tsunami instead of blaming the white collar criminals who did it—guys like “Mr. Wall Street”—John Kasich!

I admit it-I do want Boehner to do something for me: serve and represent my district, the people he was elected to serve. He hasn’t done that. Pro-business? Only if that business is one of the giant banks and corporations that makes huge donations to him. He has voted against tax incentives for small businesses. He doesn’t care about jobs or the deficit, he just wants to keep getting his money. Get rid of Boehner!

What issues do you want to discuss uncoolgrammaw? How about Boehner’s voting record? He consistantly votes in favor of big banks and big corporations and against small businesses and regular Americans. How is that patriotic? We need to get rid of Boehner and elect a REAL patriot-West Point grad and Army captain Justin Cassoule!

News flash for all the liberals who can read and comprehend. John Boehner, while admittedly not perfect on his worst day is 100 times better than any liberal whack job the dems would put up and the people in his district know it. In his district, the number of hard working, honest, responsible, moral Americans far out number the other kind of people - Democrats. Boehner supports capitalism and is pro-business. Good for him and good for us. How many poor, fat, underedcucated. beer guzzling slobs have given you a job? Most of the lib whiners who detest Boehner do so because he hasn’t done something for them. The liberal battle cry is “What have you given to me or done for me lately”. I want a common sense conservative who wants smaller goverment and who thinks the citizens should control their govt and not the other way around in charge.

I know how to spell whore, but I was concerned about the DDN censors. The people in Miami Co. keep voting for Boehner, who voted against tax cuts for small businesses at least twice, passes out payoffs from the tobacco companies on the floor of the House, and thinks BP (or any big corporation) shouldn’t be held accountable for their actions. Kick this jerk out and elect Justin Cassoule! And that’s you’re or you are.

John Boehner is a patriot! The so-called liberals don’t like what he says, so they try to tear him down personally. That’s so typical! They don’t have a leg to stand on in an actual conversation, so they try to make fun of him like the juveniles they are - what they say does not matter. Making fun of somebody is not the same as discussing the issues.
