Mike DeWine appears to have GOP nod for AG
It appears that former U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine of Cedarville won’t have an opponent on the May ballot for the GOP nomination for attorney general.
Hardin County Attorney Steve Christopher, who’s part of Tea Party movement, did not have enough signatures to qualify for the primary ballot, Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner’s office said on Friday, March 5.
Brunner’s office also said that two candidates who filed as Democrats in the U.S. Senate race - Traci Johnson of Hilliard and Charlena Renee Bradley of Lyndhurst - didn’t have enough signatures to qualify.
That makes the race for the nomination a two-person contest between Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher. The winner will face Republican Rob Portman, the former Cincinnati-area congressman, who has no primary opposition.

There are several reasons I will never support Dewine both personal and political. I am throwing my support to Marc Feldman and I hope others will too so “Dewiner” will get the message LOUD and CLEAR!

DeWine is a joke and will never get my vote. The republican party is almost as corrupt as the democrats anymore and it is time for achange. It appears they don’t realize it anymore than the majority of dems realize their party is corrupt too. So we will either get a dem or hopefully a Libertarian in the office.

I will write in Mickey Mouse before I’ll vote for Mike DeWine. Anyone with half a brain can see the political manipulation already at work in his run for AG. This is just politics as usual. Be it Democrat or Republican.

This story isn’t over yet. A large group of people are at this very minute going through every rejected signature. Would it surprise anyone to learn most south west board of elections are run by DeWine loving GOP members. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we learn the GOP itself had a hand in trying to disqualify Christopher. We already know Kevin DeWine and the ORP has done everything to propel his cousin Mike.

If dewine wants some more state money just tell him to go find ole bobby taft and get his share of the rare coins scandal money the that GOP bum lost while in office. These loser names we are all familiar with should never grace another ballot. vote no for dewine for any office.

When is an Ohio AG going to stop by Butler County and do something about the conflicts of interest and ethics violations of our County’s GOP politicians? Mr. Cordray, just because it is an election year, don’t walk away from your job yet. You have been lead to the water, now it is time to drink. We need your help.

Mike Dewine inserted an earmark overiding a court ruling estabilishing Ohio Civilian Employees Servents working At Wright Patterson exempt from City Income taxes at the last minute on a “must Pass” bill. This excuses non combantant non military users of public services in the State of Ohio from paying their share of costs of services they use. The same government users in other fields or states would be subject to taxes. In my judgement Dewine is subject to the wishes of special interest groups regardless of the welfare of the general public. He does not deserve to serve as AG or anything else in public service.

Maybe Christopher will launch an independent candidacy. He’d take the tea party vote away from DeWine and enable Cordray to coast to victory.

Marc who? Dann? Anyway, let’s hope that as a Libertarian, Feldman will draw the Tea Party Republicans away from DeWine and propel Cordray to victory.

Marc Feldman is a Libertarian candidate that did make the AG ballot and is still a better choice than either DeWine or Cordray.
