Brown on Kennedy

Here’s Sen. Sherrod Brown’s spokeswoman, Meghan Dubyak, speaking on behalf of her boss on the passing of Ted Kennedy. Brown is currently en route from a congressional delegation trip to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

“Sen. Kennedy was a friend and mentor to Sen. Brown. They served together on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, where Sen. Brown was regularly reminded of Sen. Kennedy’s commitment to social and economic justice. Sen. Brown will continue to honor Sen. Kennedy’s legacy by fighting to ensure that all Americans have access to the best health care and educational opportunities available. Sen. Brown and Connie’s thoughts are with Victoria and Sen. Kennedy’s family as the nation mourns his loss.”

Will I mourn for Senator Edward Kennedy? Yes for the Kennedy family. Upon hearing of the senators death, I immediately thought of Mary Jo and her death at age 28 yrs. I cannot judge the senator, that is up to our creator. I will also remember Mary Jo and her family. The shadow of her death has been with the senator all these years and I am sure he made peace with God, so I must. May we also spend a few seconds in prayer for Mary Jo while in mourning and prayer for Senator Kennedy.

Can’t people keep their hateful thoughts to themselves and let those who wish to honor Sen. Kennedy do so in peace?

I love how we jump to Bush. I also love the famous “who are you to judge” line. There were PLENTY of things about Bush I couldnt stand but this article is not about him. If only perfect people are allowed to judge then how in the heck to we have anyone on a jury? Sorry but anyone defending this POS is out of their mind. He KILLED A WOMAN! He is on par with OJ! I know some of you party loyalists(repubs and dems) will defend yours to the end. Come on there has to be some limit!

Wow, Michael. I’m sure we can go back and find all the comments you made complaining about bush getting the free ride into the Texas AG, or getting into Harvard biz with a C+ avg., or his startling success in crony capitalism, or his lying us into a war.

Michael are you perfect? What have you done to help people? Who are you to judge? When the time comes for all to be judge by God, hopefully he will look past your faults; for he is ONLY ONE WHO HAS THE POWER TO JUDGE!

Did he teach Sherrod how to cheat in college, kill a woman, and slander people(Robert Bork), and still keep getting elected?
