Strickland says state budget signed: “blueprint for growth and prosperity”

Gov. Ted Strickland said on Friday, July 17, that he signed the $50.5 billion, two-year state budget, according to Dayton Daily News reporter Tony Gottschlich. The official signing apparently occurred about 3 p.m.

Strickland made the announcement while at Thurgood Marshall High School in Dayton for a “ceremonial” repeat signing of the two-year spending plan.

“I believe this budget will be the blueprint for Ohio’s economic growth and prosperity,” Strickland said in Dayton.

“Blueprint for growth and prosperity”—-That’s what I call putting a good face on it. Translated — “Nobody like it, but it’s what we came up with that would get enough votes to pass.”

He hasn’t created squat for jobs and he hasn’t saved any. Have you forgotten the job problem in Wilmington? Did he save ant in that town? Have you noticed that cities have to lay off several employees? No and No you haven’t or just don’t care. Strickland like Obama is a one term and out wonder.

Growth and prosperity for who? Thousands of Ohioans are going to lose their jobs while services to the most needy are going to be cut.
