BounceU offers up to $5 off with food donation

With summer gone and chilling winds blowing through your local sandbox, some indoor play might be in order. But do you really want the kids bouncing off your living room walls?

Now you can help the area’s needy and let your little ones burn off their boundless energy at Miamisburg’s BounceU, and get a discount to boot.

The local BounceU, which was in the news recently when they sponsored a birthday party for a seriously ill Beavercreek teen, has found yet another way to help their community.

Now through Nov. 30, BounceU — located at 2109 Lyons Road — will be accepting canned food donations in exchange for $1 off admission prices. All the donated items will be given to the Miami Valley Food Pantry.

During the “Kids Feeding Kids” food drive, guests will receive $1 off admission at BounceU for every nonperishable food item they donate. Guests can receive up to $5 off their admission per visit.

“Giving back to those in need, especially as we enter the holiday season, is something that everybody should be doing,” Sherri Hayn, owner of BounceU, said in a release. “By organizing the BounceU Kids Feeding Kids food drive with Miami Valley Food Pantry, we are able to not only help those in need, but also teach children the significance of giving back.”

Having fun while making a difference: another teachable moment.
