Put old campaign signs to good use

Confession time: I’m a procrastinator. But thanks to another bad habit — hoarding emails — I have this great tip to pass along from last November. This year especially: Everything old is new again.

Upcycled campaign signs

Now that election season is finally over, Disney Family Fun magazine (which I love, btw) recommends turning those old campaign signs into special birthday signs for your children.

Instead of throwing them away, put them to good use. Just prime and paint them, then reposition in the front yard for a birthday surprise.

The signs can be repainted and reused over and over again. Also a great idea for graduation parties, reunions, baby announcements, etc.

Vote yes for recycling!
