Kids won’t eat veggies? Try Voots!
It’s no secret that vegetables are one of my least favorite foods - fresh, steamed, boiled, whatever - I just don’t like them. Fruit, fits my fancy a little more, although I admit I don’t eat as much as I should.
Given the choice of creamy chocolate or an apple, I’m likely to pick the chocolate - thus, so are my children.
I try to set the good example, forcing down peas while the kids do the same, but I think they are on to me.
Imagine my excitement, when strolling through the vitamin aisle in the grocery store, I stumbled upon “Voots.”
The brightly colored box ordained with happy vegetables caught my eye immediately. It was like the stars had aligned.
“Am I dreaming?” I thought. “Vegetables in a tablet form! Awesome! How did I miss these before?”
Voots, an au-naturale product that is made in the good ol’ U.S. of A. (which makes it even better), touts three daily servings of fruits and vegetables in just one serving.
They don’t taste half bad either - kind of fruity. I’d prefer them over broccoli any day. My kids had no complaints about the Voot-tarts either, however, I certainly didn’t tell them they were made of veggies!
Shamefully, I admit to probably falling for the hoopla surrounding these supplements, much like I fell for the “Sunshine Vitamin” (vitamin D) scare tactics. But in the grand scheme of things, considering I prefer “just looking” at a pretty salad as opposed to eating it, if I can get some kind of nutritional value for myself and the “bun in the oven” by chomping some Voots, then sign me up - and my boys.
Voots is so sure we parents will be satisfied with their veggie-tarts, they are offering a sample box for only the shipping cost of $5.99. Just call the customer service number found on their website.

Hey all, I tried voots at costco, so did my kids (all 3 of them, ages 8, 7, and 2)… and we all loved them enough to buy a giant box. hey, try as we may to get our kids to eat the right foods, the reality is, they just don’t. voots are a close second in my book and I just feel good my kids are eating them every day!
