Twins Club clothing sale is coming!
I’ll admit right up front that I’ve never been to the Dayton Mothers of Twins Club twice-annual clothing and equipment sale, but I’ve heard good things about the event from friends. It’s even on Craigslist, for goodness sake.
The club’s spring sale is open to the public Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. (There’s a special Friday night preview for club members.)
I’m told you have to get there early, and it’s cash only. Bring a shopping tote and fill ‘er up!
Twin buying tip: I once bought two identical spiffy Christmas outfits (red velvet breeches, plaid bow tie and vest, dress shirt — the works!) for my baby at a resale shop for like $10. We were going to a winter wedding, and the extra suit was my just-in-case “insurance policy” against son’s spills, spit-ups and diaper blowouts. I tucked it in the diaper bag feeling very savvy indeed. Confidence is sexy, don’t you think?
