Early dismissal added to school calendar
Madison students will be having a two-hour early dismissal next week as part of a few changes to the school calendar announced today.
All Madison students will be dismissed two hours early for teacher in-service time Thursday, Jan. 15. Students will not have school on Friday, Jan. 16 or Monday, Jan. 19 as previously stated on the district calendar.
Due to the state-wide OGT test dates, Friday, March 20 will not be a day off, but instead will be a regular school day for all students.
The last day of the school year for students has been changed to THURSDAY MAY 28.
Call the District Office at 420-4750 or your child’s school if you have questions.

Nice catch. I called about the last day of school and it is actually MAY 28 (not March)

Yes, I did it again - another typo in a school announcement. I had already sent out the wrong date (March 28 instead of May) to 300+ people by email, so I sent a correction that added: “Apologies to students for getting your hopes up, but you will not get two extra months of summer vacation; and apologies to parents for giving you such a fright!”
