Madison Intermediate recognized

Madison Intermediate School was recognized by the American Heart Association as a “Fit Friendly” company during the school board meeting Monday.

Principal Matthew Gray said the award is for a program they started last January for employees in the building.

The employees earned points for doing things to stay healthy, like walking in groups.

The school is one of two in Butler County to be honored.
