Mom accused of leaving baby home alone so she can work the streets

KETTERING Aug. 22 Officers responded to Sure Shots, 3121 East Dorothy Lane, on a report of a soliciting complaint.

A woman was standing outside the door offering sex for money. Officers made contact with the subject and learned she may have left her 8-month-old baby alone in her apartment.

Officers went to the subject’s apartment and found that the baby was inside unattended, and in a swing. The woman was arrested on a charge of child endangering and issued a summons on a violation for soliciting.

The baby was turned over to his grandparents.
