Hey, stop playing with the keys to my vehicle

DAYTON June 6 A complainant in the 1000 block of Adalbert Avenue reported that an acquaintance of hers took the keys from her ignition and acted like he threw them down a storm drain. The complainant said she was giving him a ride home when they got into an argument in the vehicle. She pulled over and asked him to get out. He grabbed the keys and exited the vehicle and motioned as if he threw them down a drain. She left her vehicle in the right turn lane on North Keowee Street, just before Monument Avenue, and went home to call police. A short time after the complainant left the vehicle, a crew saw it and had it towed for being a hazard. The officers who responded to the complainant’s residence went to Keowee and Monument to see if her keys were there. They looked in the storm drains but were unable to locate them. They contacted her and advised that her acquaintance may still have the keys. The complainant told them she is not from the area and she didn’t know where he was staying.
