Underage drinking and kayaking don’t mix
SUGARCREEK TWP. April 26 Police responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Turkey Foot Road after the the resident reported hearing people yelling and screaming in the woods near his property. Officers saw a female standing outside a parked vehicle at the turn around on Turkey Foot Road and an adult male and two juvenile males coming down the hill toward them. The officer learned that the juveniles were canoeing down the Little Miami River and docked for a while to walk in the woods. One of the juveniles (subject) was heavily intoxicated and got lost but was later found by his friend. The subject was still very intoxicated when the officer tried to speak with him. He didn’t know where he was or why he docked the canoe and went into the woods. The subject admitted to drinking a large amount of Natural Light Beer and was transported jail for underage alcohol consumption.

I agree, drinking and kayaking don’t mix. It’s a lot better in a canoe, plus there is room for your cooler.
