It’s a Holiday, Man

ENGLEWOOD April 20 An officer approached a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Durst Drive and observed a large amount of marijuana smoke emit from the vehicle when a window was rolled down. The five occupants, ranging in age from 16-20 exited the vehicle and the two juveniles were instructed by the officer to contact their mothers. The juveniles said they only took “two hits” and wanted to smoke it since it was “International Smoke Day.” The juveniles were advised they’re receive a summons in the mail for drug abuse. The adult driver and two other occupants were issued drug abuse summonses. One was additionally charged with littering.
