Texting while driving is not a good idea; drinking, texting and driving is even worse
KETTERING May 2 Officers responded to the area of Shroyer Road and Lesher Drive on a hit-and-run where they were told by witnesses that a driver ran off the road and struck a light pole. The driver and vehicle were located in the parking lot at the Arbors on Far Hills Avenue. She admitted to have been drinking and was apparently texting when she lost control of the vehicle. The subject said she panicked and fled the scene. She submitted to field sobriety tests and completed them successfully. The subject was released to her mother and cited for failure to control and hit-and-run.

Let’s not forget to add NURSING A TODDLER to that list of “stupid things stupid people do while driving”.
