With Friends Like That…

CLAYTON March 19 A complainant reported she was giving her friend a ride in her vehicle when the two began to argue. She pulled into AK Stop, 5341 Westbrook Road, where the subject took the keys out of the ignition and threw them on the roof of the store. The keys slid off the roof, her friend grabbed them and ran across the street to Meadowbrook Country Club, 6001 Salem Ave., where he threw the keys into a large pond. The complainant was unable to locate the keys. She said the key ring held the only key to her vehicle, and two other vehicle keys, and keys to her house, mailbox, and safety deposit box. The subject was taken to the police department, where he was charged with disorderly conduct and released.
