His Mouth Was Saying No But His Shorts Were Saying Yes
VANDALIA March 6 An officer stopped a driver on National Road for a headlight violation and immediately smelled marijuana when the window was rolled down. The driver told the officer that his passenger had marijuana on him. The passenger was ordered out of the vehicle and asked several times if he had anything illegal on his person. The subject would answer no each time, and reach for his groin area. The officer patted him down and shook out his shorts. A marijuana cigarette fell out of his shorts. The subject was issued a minor misdemeanor summons for drug abuse.
