Miami wins 6-0

Miami’s hockey team defeated Northern Michigan 6-0 Saturday night at Steve Cady Arena.

Cody Reichard recorded the 12th shutout of his career, tying the Miami record, and freshman Alex Wideman scored two goals.

RedHawks increase lead

The Miami RedHawks lead Northern Michigan 2-0 after two periods tonight at Steve Cady Arena.

Miami’s second goal was scored with 13:32 left in the second period by Bryon Paulazzo, assisted by Matt Tomassoni and Chris Wideman.

Players had to be separated during a fight during the final seconds of the period.

Miami leads in shots on goal 24-14.

MU leads Northern after 1

Freshman Alex Wideman scored his second goal of the season, his first since the season opener, and Miami University’s hockey team leads Northern Michigan 1-0 after one period tonight at Steve Cady Arena.

Reilly Smith and Trent Vogelhuber had assists on the goal. Smith’s assist was the 100th point of his career.

Cody Reichard was 7-for-7 in stopping shots on goal for Miami.
