Miami falls behind again after Dysert’s third interception

By Pete Conrad

Freddie Barnes caught a 2-yard touchdown pass, his second scoring reception of the night, to give Bowling Green a 21-14 lead over the Miami RedHawks in the third quarter of tonight’s game at Yager Stadium.

The touchdown was set up by safety P.J. Mahone, who intercepted a pass from Zac Dysert at the Miami 17-yard line. It was Dysert’s third interception of the game.

Barnes has three touchdowns overall. He also has a 19-yard touchdown run and a 59-yard touchdown reception.

The Falcons had a chance to add to their lead, but RedHawks freshman Austin Brown blocked a 34-yard field goal attempt with 4:55 left in the third period.
