Football: It could be Mallory on Tuesday
By Pete Conrad
Miami University is likely to name its new head football coach this week, as early as Tuesday, Dec. 23.
A source close to Miami University’s athletic department says the candidate most likely to be named is Curt Mallory, and that New Orleans Saints running backs coach Aaron Kromer no longer is in the picture.
Mallory is the co-defensive coordinator and defensive backfield coach at Illinois.
Mike Pearson, Miami director of athletic media relations, said “Nothing will happen Monday (Dec. 22)” but added that the university will make an announcement “very soon.”

The offensive cooordinator at Notre Dame? The one who Weiss practically demoted at the end of the year? This was the best we could get. Would rather have seen them go after Gill. This guys has no credibility.
