Hockey: Miami rolls past RPI

By Pete Conrad

The Miami hockey team defeated Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 7-1 today at Steve Cady Arena to head into its two-and-a-half week break on an eight-game winning streak.

Tommy Wingels scored two goals (which tied a career high) and finished with four points (a career high) for the RedHawks, and Carter Camper had a goal and three assists.

Wingels also scored two goals in a game against RPI last season.
