Lots more than football this SUPER weekend
Don’t just sit and watch football when you could laugh, dance or sing your heart out with a bit of comedy, lots of live music and a healthy dose of karaoke.
DAYTON DOES DAYTON
This is the second year for this local music extravaganza featuring more than a dozen local bands paying homage to other Dayton musicians by covering their hits. Music starts at 8:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday night and runs until 2 a.m.
Where: Canal Street Tavern, 308 E. First St., Dayton
When: 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4

CRY FOR HELP COMEDY TOUR
Bob and Tom favorite Droopy Drew headlines this comedy lineup that also iincludes Ranson Karr, Travis Clyburn, Jeremy Johnson, Gary Offill, Dale Blomquist and Hannah Bishop.
Where: BoJangles, 1925 S. Alex Road, West Carrollton
When: 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4
The bite: $5, 21 and older only.
THE BENGSONS
This experimental indie folk duo will be playing at the new Ghostlight Coffee shop on Wayne Ave. Show should start at just about halftime for all those who can only take a few hours of Super Bowl partying.

When: 8 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5

SING YOUR HEART OUT
Help raise money for the American Heart Association during the second annual “Sing Your Heart Out” karaoke event.
Pay per song or buy a wristband and belt it out all night long.
You can also make a donation in a friend’s name and make them get up and sing a tune.

When: 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8
The bite: $5 cover charge, $5 per song or $25 for an all- night wristband.
