London’s calling you to a Bash

British Bash

The Dayton Ballet Barre is throwing its second annual British Bash at the Packard Museum Saturday. It’s a great opportunity to explore the museum, help raise money to support local arts groups and party it up Shakespearean style. Queen Elizabeth I and her Court will perform dances from the era and a short Shakespearean piece.

Jump forward in time and take a ride in a Packard V-12 convertible or check out all the vintage cars on display.

The night will end with a British Invasion raffle and dancing with DJ Zaj. A cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres will be available all night.

Where: Packard Museum, 420 S. Ludlow St., Dayton

When: 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14

The bite: $17 for Barre members either in advance or at the door, $24 for nonmembers in advance, $26 at the door, $45 per couple, $49 at the door. Visit www.daytonballetbarre.org to purchase advance tickets by Aug. 12.

Dance Party and Model Search

This Friday, South Beach Nite Club is hosting a model search for SH Promotions. Photographers will be on site seeking ladies who are interested in promotions, runway and reality television.

DJ Chris Rock will playing all your favorite music. Everyone 18 and older is welcome. Ladies get in free until 11 p.m.
