Wake up with the World Cup Friday
Friday’s World Cup schedule is packed with great matchups - Germany vs. Serbia, USA vs. Slovenia and England vs. Algeria - and local pubs want you out of bed early. They’re willing to make it worth your while with breakfast and drink specials. Here’s a sampling of some early morning parties going on around Dayton tomorrow morning.
Boulevard Haus
Really get into the German football experience at the area’s only authentic German restaurant. They’ll open at 7 a.m. for the Germany vs. Serbia match and serve a $7.95 breakfast buffet. Get a beer tower for only $20 (that’s $10 off the normal price) if you mention you saw the special online.

Boston’s Bistro and Pub
Boston’s will open at 10 a.m. for the USA vs. Slovenia match and will be serving a World Cup Breakfast including a soft pretzel egg sandwich and potatoes. Beer specials include $2 pints and $9 pitchers of craft beer, plus seven different cask-conditioned ales for $3 or $4 a pint, $9 growler fills or $11 pitchers. Watch all the World Cup action on Boston’s new 40 and 46-inch flat-screen TVs.

Fox and Hound English Pub and Grille
Load up at the full breakfast buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Drink specials include $4 Jack Daniels you-call-its and $3 Coors beers.

Dublin Pub
The pub will be open at 7 a.m. for every World Cup match broadcasting that early, including the Germany vs. Serbia game Friday. The kitchen will be serving a full breakfast menu and of course there will be pints. They have a 100-inch flat-screen TV and four others about half that size.

Cadillac Jack’s in Springboro/Centerville area will be opening at 10 AM for the World Cup viewers tomorrow.
