3 holiday parties not to miss

It’s beginning to look a lot like holiday party season. Here are three best bets for a holly jolly weekend of fun at the bars.

Nightmare Before Christmas at Vex

The Gem City Rollergirls are sponsoring a Gothic Christmas party and toy drive at Club Vex this Friday. Bring a toy for Toys For Tots to the door and get in free before 11 p.m. The Rollergirls will be on hand with information about their upcoming derby events. Plus enter the 50-50 raffle and possibly earn some extra holiday cash.

Where: Club Vex, 101 S. St. Clair St., Dayton

When: Doors open at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11

The bite: No cover before 11 p.m. with a toy donation, $3 for 21 and up after 11 p.m. $5 for 18 to 20.

Holiday Party at Dixie Cowgirls

If an all-you-can-drink special doesn’t get you in the holiday mood, we don’t know what will. This Friday at Dixie Cowgirls, pay $20 at the door and drink all night for free. No restrictions courtesy of Elite Management.

Holiday Male Revue at The 88 Club

Ladies hang your ornament on some hot guys when you join the ActiveDayton.com Party Crashers for an all male revue featuring LUSCIOUS, MIDNIGHT, BOLO and ‘Unwrapping’ TANK from Cleveland. VIP tickets are limited and are $50, which includes a holiday ornament, table side service and a snack tray. General admission is $20 in advance (can be purchased at The 88 Club) and $25 at the door.

When: 10:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12
