Rolling Stone turns 40, goes digital

Getting hip with the times, Rolling Stone launches a digital issue … for free. Now you can read through the magazine cover to cover. Will it stay free? Only time will tell, but it’s certainly interesting. I canceled my subscription long ago, but I would look through this. Speaking of magazines, I am still mourning the loss of my beloved “Premiere” (it went to online exclusively not all that long ago), but continue to check it out online (they just posted an interesting article “20 Benchmark Films in Computer Animation History: From ‘Tron’ to ‘Beowulf’ and beyond, a look at how computers took over Hollywood). I still subscribe to Entertainment Weekly, but feel that in the last five years the quality has seriously gone downhill. Right now my most beloved subscriptions are Wired, Spin and Blender. I only wish others could be as good. Which brings me to my question for today: what magazines are you reading?
