Coupon guru shares savings at Jungle Jim’s class
Coupon guru Tara Roark will be the featured guest at Jungle Jim’s Penny Wise cooking class on Oct. 24.
Roark is known for her coupon clipping and Web site couponbootcamp.com. She will tell people how to get lots of groceries for pennies on the dollar.
There will be no menu or cooking at the Oct. 24 class. Classes are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and are two hours each. Jungle Jim’s is located at 5440 Dixie Highway. The cost is $25 per person.
Interested participants must register by Oct. 22 by calling (513) 674-6059 or e-mail cookingschool@junglejims.com.

Yeah, that is stupid and certainly raises a red flag. Hey, come learn how to save money by giving your money to some unknown lady! Beware.

Rhis is a scam so stay away. If you check out her website, you will first notice how poorly designed it is. It doesn’t look professional and it looks fishy. Then, if you read, you will see that she is asking for money so you can “buy” materials so you can “host” your own coupon boot camps. This is just some woman’s new spin on some Amway type scam, except it is with coupons. Coupons!? Really?!

I thought you were supposed to save money with coupons. I didn’t you that you could save money by giving it away to someone to “teach” you how to save money with coupons.

A lot of those coupon people charge for classes. This lady isn’t the first.
